Your costs, shared
The passenger contributes to the cost of the trip — fuel, wear. That amount comes to you in full: no commission is taken. Your employer caps it, so it stays a favour between colleagues.

A colleague who makes it to work
Some of your colleagues have neither a car nor a licence. At the hours you work, the buses don’t run. Your empty seat is sometimes the only option.

A report goes straight to your employer, who can warn, suspend, or revoke verification. You can also hide a colleague without having to explain why.
What we get asked a lot.
Does it cost me anything?
No. RijdSamen is paid for by your employer, never by you. Joining a ride costs you nothing beyond your share of the costs, which goes to the driver.
Do I have to choose between driver and passenger?
No. One account, no mode to switch on. You publish a ride when you’re driving, you join one when you’re not — sometimes in the same week.
How much do I earn when I drive?
You don’t “earn” anything: the passenger shares your costs, and your employer caps that amount so it stays mutual help. It comes to you in full — we take no commission.
Can my employer see where I live?
Your employer manages the circle and the verifications, not your movements. Your pickup point is visible only to colleagues at your site, and only on rides you publish yourself.
What if I’m not comfortable with a colleague?
You can decline a request without explaining, hide a colleague, or file a report — which goes to your employer.
My nursing home doesn’t use RijdSamen yet.

You can’t tell from this page, and that’s normal: RijdSamen opens site by site, at the employer’s request. Tell us where you work — we’ll check, and we’ll get back to you.
